Jordi Savall spielt “Antonio Martine y Coll” (1660-1680 ? bis 1734) – Diferencias sobre las folias Aufnahme aus Schloss Sancoussi, Potsdam / Germany Antonio Martín y Coll (gest.. 1734) war ein spanischer Organist , Komponist und Sammler von Barockmusik . Biographie: Martín y Coll wuchs in einem Kloster und wurde schließlich ein Franziskaner- Mönch. Die letzten Jahre seines Lebens wurden in einem abgebrannten Kloster von San Francisco el Grande in Madrid . Wahrscheinlich starb er dort nach 1733 und vor 1735. Works Obwohl in erster Linie ein Organist, Martín y Coll schrieb auch ein Paar von Abhandlungen (1714 und 1734). Allerdings liegt seine moderne Ruhm auf vier Bände der Flores de Música (Musical Blumen), eine Zusammenstellung von Hunderten von Klavierstücken, die fast alle von ihnen ohne Autor. Da die Stücke wurden wahrscheinlich in der Zeit der Erfassung berühmten würde Zuhörer den Komponisten gekannt haben. Die moderne Forschung ist es gelungen, eine große Zahl der Werke von Komponisten wie Attribut Corelli , Händel , Frescobaldi , Cabanilles und Cabezón . Der fünfte Band der Flores de Música, genannt Ramillete Oloroso: suabes flores de música para Organo, enthält hauptsächlich Orgelmusik (wie der Titel andeutet). Die Arbeiten in diesem Band sind in der Regel davon ausgegangen, dass Martín y Coll eigenen Kompositionen werden. Zwei dieser Arbeiten sind Variationen über La Folia , eine lange Diferencias sobre las Folias und eine kürzere Folias.
